Mobile bloggers at WordPress.com can upload their video to YouTube using Wavelog 2.01

Thursday, October 30th, 2008

New feature introduced in Wavelog version 2 is combining WordPress with YouTube. It allows simple publishing of blog posts that contains videos to your WordPress powered blog. See example here.

If you do not already have a WordPress powered blog you may create one for free in few seconds here: wordpress.com

Since the free hosting of your blog at wordpress.com does not allow uploading videos, we have added YouTube support to Wavelog 2 mobile phone blogging client.

Simply setup you blogging provider as WordPress, add your YouTube account details and you may upload videos directly from your Nokia phone not only to your blog but also to YouTube!

And if you don’t want to upload videos, you may decide to reference already existing videos from YouTube in your blog posts. Just select >Menu>Insert>Link To>YouTube video and enter the YouTube code for that video.

Of course, this is also possible with Blogger, Drupal and Joomla powered Web sites.

Don’t just surf. Make waves!
